Professor Courtney Kipps
Courtney is an honorary Sports Medicine consultant at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH) in London and co-leads a Masters in Sports Medicine, Exercise & Health at University College London. Courtney is Assistant Medical Director for London Marathon and co-organises the ‘Marathon Medicine’ conference, a conference focussing on the medicine and science of endurance running.

Professor Andrew Hartle
Andrew Hartle is Professor of Practice (Anaesthesia) at Imperial College, and a Consultant Anaesthetist at St Mary's Hospital. He is Hon. Civilian Consultant Advisor to the Royal Air Force, President of the Tri Service Anaesthetic Society, and volunteers as a Critical Care Event Doctor with St John Ambulance. He's Past President of the Association of Anaesthetists and the Royal Society of Medicine Anaesthesia Section.

Dr Ross Hemingway OBE
Dr Ross Hemingway is a sports medicine physician at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines.
He has extensive clinical experience in managing athletes and military personnel with exertional collapse. He has a specific interest in the prevention, acute management and rehabilitation of patients with exertional heat illness and is passionate about reducing the morbidity and mortality associated with EHI.

Dr Gareth Jones
Dr. Gareth Jones is a Reader and Course Director for the MSc Sport & Exercise Medicine programme at Leeds Beckett University. Gareth is a Physiotherapist with a research and clinical interest in the epidemiology and management of climbing and mountaineering-related injuries. He has a particular interest in the presentation of athletic incapacity due to the effects of heat and high altitude.

Dr Amy Boalch
Amy is a GP with a Masters in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health. She is the project lead for Race Ready, an app providing evidence-based medical information to runners. She has volunteered as a medic at multiple UK road races and is a keen runner herself. She is also a committee member for the London Marathon Medicine Conference.

Dr Todd Leckie
Todd is an Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine Specialty Trainee with a research interest in the causes and treatment of exertional collapse. Todd has a background in elite sport, having competed as an international triathlete and was the reserve for Team GB at the 2012 Olympics.

Dr Dan Fitzpatrick
Dan is a Sport and Exercise Medicine Specialist Trainee based in London having previously trained in General Practice . He has sports experience in athletics, marathon running, rugby and football and has published multiple papers on marathon runner health. He has an interest in understanding risk factors for heat illness as well as it’s prevention and treatment.

Dr Frederick Stourton
Freddie is an anaesthetic trainee in the KSS deanery, and is also a founding trustee of a prehospital critical care charity. He has a particular interest in the prehospital emergency management of exertional heat illness, particularly in the critically unwell.

Dr Felix Wood
Felix is a Royal Air Force Emergency Medicine registrar working in Devon. His main focus regarding heat illness is to facilitate early identification and effective treatment for those with severe symptoms. He's treated exertional heat illness while providing medical cover at multiple mass participation sporting events and is working to spread best practice within the UK military.
